Calvet Reserve Bordeaux Sauvignon Blanc 2022

Fresh and Crisp.

CalvetCalvet Reserve Sauvignon Blanc presents the typical expressions of the grape. It originated in France, in the regions of Bordeaux and the Loire Valley where it is still popular.  It’s a crisp and fresh white wine with notes of green apples and zesty citrus. Ideal when served well-chilled, and an excellent choice to pair with salmon and grilled oily fish. It is a well-priced quality wine with broad appeal!

Calvet is the fourth largest Bordeaux brand in France

Maison Calvet was founded over 200 years ago and is now one of the oldest wine merchants in the Bordeaux region. The business was sold to the Whitbread group in 1982, and then to Allied Domecq. Eventually it passed to French wine industry giant, Les Grands Chais de France. Today Calvet is the fourth largest Bordeaux brand in France, and sells over 10 million bottles, across over 100 countries.

Les Grands Chais de France was founded in 1979 by Joseph Helfrish, and the group presents quality French wines mainly for export. They own vineyards in many wine-producing regions including Alsace, Loire Valley, Bordeaux, Beaujolais and Languedoc-Roussillon.
