Château Haut Gléon estate covers 260 hectares of garrigue, a scrubland of aromatic Mediterranean herbs and forests. It has a long history: the property stands on the former medieval castle, built in 1223, when the Viscount of Narbonne gave the land to the de Treilles family, who took the name “de Gléon”. The Duhamel family acquired the Gléon d’en haut estate in 1991. The new owners decided to rename the estate “Château Haut Gléon”. Vignobles Foncalieu bought Château Haut Gléon in 2012.
