HECK Pork Chipolatas

Casual or Smart.

Heck ChipolatasThis is traditional British comfort food: a sausage in the guise of a chipolata. It takes its name from French and Italian sausages which contained onions. These days the word Chipolata means any meaty and slim sausage. HECK Pork Chipolatas are just that, and versatile too.

Party Fare

These delicious sausages can be used in exactly the same way as you would an ordinary sausage for any of your favourite dishes. Comforting casseroles for these cold winter nights. Perhaps a tempting Sunday morning breakfast sarnie. But the advantage of a chipolata is that it can also be elevated to drinks party fare. Simply make a glaze of 2 parts mustard to 1 part honey and mix well. Cut each chipolata into more-refined thirds and fry till well-cooked and nicely browning. Turn the heat low and pour the glaze over the sausages. Continue cooking till the glaze coats the chipolatas in a thick and sticky sauce. The sausages can be cooked in advance and reheated with the glaze. Serve these to posh guests on fancy picks.

HECK Pork Chipolatas are dairy- and gluten-free, high in protein and low in sugar. They can be either casual or smart – but always delicious!
