Authentic Danish Bakers Feature Seasonal Flavours.
Specialist bakers at Ole & Steen known for their popular Cinnamon Social created the all-new menu showcasing indulgent seasonal autumnal tastes. The new menu features the indulgent Pumpkin Spice Latte Cheesecake, a biscuit base topped with pumpkin spice cheesecake, coffee cream and gold coffee beans.
Blackberry & Strawberry Tart, a sweet shortcrust almond base, covered in chocolate topped with vanilla custard, fresh blackberries, strawberries and flaked almonds. There’s also the delicious Pumpkin spiced latte and Honeycomb Latte as the perfect accompaniments.
For the first time Ole & Steen presents the Cardamom Bun, a Danish favourite which will delight UK pastry lovers. The cardamom bun base is crisp and caramelised, where sugar and butter have crystallised while baking. As you eat it, the flavour of cardamom floods the tastebuds.
Cardamom Buns are often sold alongside Cinnamon Buns, and they are usually shaped differently so you can tell them apart. The main difference is that freshly ground cardamom has a slight peppery taste with a beautiful floral aroma.
And to celebrate the launch Ole & Steen’s Cardamom Bun will be the limited time only price £2 (instead of standard £3.95) for two weeks from September 3 launch.
There’s also the comforting Bacon & Brie Croissant, a croissant filled with streaky bacon, Brie, caramelised onion chutney and rocket. As well as Avocado & Egg Open Rye, carrot rye topped with smashed advocacy, peas, jammy egg, mixed seeds and pea shoots.
